All in all, I really enjoyed my time using the Fjallraven Kanken big backpack. I think they are great bags for anyone who's serious about their outdoor trips. They are sturdy, durable, and extremely roomy. The material they are made out of is also ideal if you don't want to have to deal with bugs getting into your bag.

Carrying Strap

One thing that I do suggest though is that you invest in a carrying strap. I found that I didn't really need one of these at all because I carried the bag over my shoulder. I actually carried it up until my thighs where I slowly let it fall and then started walking. It can be pretty uncomfortable if you carry it on your back all day. This is definitely an issue for me.



The straps on the Fjallraven Kanken for backpackers were very comfortable. I couldn't even feel them when I first used it. I definitely recommend this. It does take some getting used to. Once you get used to it, you'll be able to walk for miles with no problem.

Another great feature is that it has both internal and external pockets. These are great for any sort of personal needs. If you want something to store all your extra clothing items, you can easily stow them in there. This is great especially if you are heading out into nature and don't want to have to take everything out of your bags.
